Indra Egan

Repetiteur

Persian Canadian musician Indra Egan is a faculty pianist and vocal coach at Dalhousie University’s Fountain School of Performing Arts.

Originally from Northern BC, Indra has worked as a répétiteur, pianist, and coach across Canada, including collaborations with Vancouver Opera, Tapestry Opera, Opera Kelowna, and Neptune Theatre.

Indra is passionate about giving back through art by performing in eight annual “Indra and Friends” benefit concerts for Canadian medical charities.

She has also produced and performed in three epilepsy awareness concerts; her online concert “Unshakeable” featured over 100 performers.  

Away from the keyboard, Indra also works as a journalist and has written for publications including The Globe and Mail.
