Dr. Daniel Carberg, tenor, is an internationally renowned performer and teacher with noted appearances throughout North America and Europe. He has performed as a regular member of Theatre of Voices and Pro Arte Singers and is a current member of three American vocal ensembles: Liber, The Concord Ensemble and Gravitación. He received his D.M. in Early Music Vocal Performance from Indiana University in Bloomington and taught at Millikin University (Illinois) for twelve years. Dan joined the music faculty at Keene State College (New Hampshire) in the fall of 2013 where he serves as the Coordinator of Vocal Activities. As a musical director of opera, Dan has led numerous productions most recently Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s Le Malade Imaginaire. Recordings of Dan can be found on Harmonia Mundi, Dorian Records, Gothic Records and First Step Records. Dan served as faculty at La Bella Musica in Urbania, Italy for two summers, and in 2008 he co-founded the New Brunswick Early Music Festival in Canada, where he served as Co-Artistic Director.
