Opera Repetiteur Workshop, Opera Workshop, Vocal Techniques Workshop A native of Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canadian pianist Anne Larlee is a repetiteur and coach with Oper Frankfurt. She completed her training in the UK as part of the prestigious Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She also holds degrees and diplomas in piano performance from Boston University, the Conservatoire National de Région de Nice, France and the University of Windsor, where she was the recipient of the Board of Governors’ Medal in Music. She is the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships, including the Canadian Aldeburgh Foundation. She has accompanied and recorded recitals and tours with Dominique Cote, Simone Osborne, Philippe Sly, Paul Appleby, Goran Juric, Louise Alder, Simon Bode, Paula Murrihy and Tamara Wilson and is considered one of the most notable young recital accompanists of our time. Following positions with Toronto’s Canadian Opera Company and the Komische Oper in Berlin, Ms. Larlee joined the Oper Frankfurt in 2016 as a vocal coach, repetiteur and accompanist. During her time, Ms. Larlee has had the opportunity to work with renowned artists such as Calixto Bieto, Harry Bicket, Constantinos Carydis, Pablo Heras-Casado, Johannes Debus, Brigitte Fassbaender, Herbert Fritsch, Andreas Homoki, Jonathan Kent, Barrie Kosky, Robert Carsen, Sir Charles Mackerras, Antonello Manacorda, Henrik Nánási, Charles Roubaud, Stefan Soltesz, and Sebastian Weigle. In addition, Ms. Larlee has also been an active faculty member of Wendy Nielsen’s Opera Workshop, the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, the Universität der Künste Berlin and the Neue Stimmen Masterclasses. In great demand across the globe, she has also been a guest with the Centre for Opera Studies in Sulmona, Italy, the British Youth Opera, Aldeburgh Music, Calgary Opera, Opera Theatre of St Louis, the Glyndebourne Opera Festival, San Francisco Opera, the Bregenzer Festspiele and the Tiroler Festspiele Erl and counts over sixty operas in her repertoire.
